Steel Variations: Functional Sculptures

Steel Variations are public functional bike rack sculptures. Two were installed at Owatonna Public Library on June 3, 2011, and one at the Blooming Prairie Branch Library on June 15, 2011. Two more were installed at the West Hills complex on June 30, 2011. All were designed by Wil Natzel and fabricated at J. Shore and Company of Owatonna.

Funding

This project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, through funding from the Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) of the Minnesota Department of Health, and through funding from the Owatonna Public Library Foundation.
