Work This Past Week October 29, 2021
- Within the 300 Block
- The concrete sidewalk ramps were poured to connect the sidewalk along the east side of the street.
- The concrete foundations for the pavers were poured.
- The roadway base is being prepared for the Pearl Street intersection pavement.
- Within the 200 Block
- The sanitary sewer manhole at the Vine Street intersection was installed and connected to the mainline sewers.
- Storm sewer is being installed on the south half of the block.
Upcoming Work
- Within the 300 Block
- Utility installation within the west alley is planned.
- Concrete pavement placement within the east alley is anticipated.
- Mainline pavement is anticipated to occur next week in addition to curb and gutter within the Pearl Street intersection.
- The new concrete typically takes between 7 and 14 days before it can be driven on. Please use extra caution while paving is occurring, and do not enter the area until the road is open to traffic.
- Within the 200 Block
- Utility work is anticipated within the Vine Street intersection.
The contractor plans to prepare the remainder of the road base (except within the Vine Street intersection) to prepare for concrete pavement in the coming weeks.
