The Lake Kohlmier beach area is scheduled for chemical treatment May 13 or 14, 2025; weather permitting. After treatment, the water is not safe for swimming (2 days), fishing/fish consumption (3 days) and other uses – drinking, irrigation, livestock watering, pets, etc. (7 days). The Park Maintenance Division annually treats Lake Kohlmier for weeds and swimmer’s itch.
