The Owatonna City Council approved Resolution 69-22 requesting the Governor call a special session to pass a tax bill and bonding bill. The City requested $22 million in bonding funds to help offset the cost of expanding the Wastewater Treatment Plant to provide critical infrastructure to support community growth. Construction on the expansion is underway and expected to be completed in late 2024.
