Owatonna residents that had flood damage due to the storms from June 16 – July 4, 2024 are eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance to help recover from losses they suffered. To apply for aid, affected individuals have four options:

- Mobile: Download the FEMA app
- Call: (800) 621-3362 | 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS)
- In Person: Visit a Disaster Recovery Center – fema.gov/drc
As part of the application process, the following information will need to be provided:
- Address with zip code
- Condition of damaged house
- Insurance information, if available
- Social Security number
- Phone number
- Current mailing address or email address
