[ARCHIVED] Apply for Disaster Assistance Due to Flooding

Owatonna residents that had flood damage due to the storms from June 16 – July 4, 2024 are eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance to help recover from losses they suffered. To apply for aid, affected individuals have four options:

  • Online: DisasterAssistance.gov
  • Mobile: Download the FEMA app
  • Call: (800) 621-3362 | 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS)
  • In Person: Visit a Disaster Recovery Center – fema.gov/drc

 As part of the application process, the following information will need to be provided:

  • Address with zip code
  • Condition of damaged house
  • Insurance information, if available
  • Social Security number
  • Phone number
  • Current mailing address or email address
