Lake Kohlmier boat landing and parking lot will be closed Friday through Sunday, July 19-21, 2024.
Each year, the city contracts with a professional company to cut weeds according to DNR guidelines at Lake Kohlmier. The City has a permit to cut the top of the weeds, not to pull them out entirely, so fish and other aquatic habitats are not disrupted. The weeds that are cut are composted and used in city projects.
