Filing Dates for candidates for City offices on the ballot of the 2024 General Election will begin Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
There will be four seats for City Officials: Mayor, Council Member-at-Large, Council Member Ward 2 and Council Member Ward 4.
Candidates may begin filing for these offices at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Candidates must file at the Office of the City Clerk in City Hall, 540 West Hills Circle, Owatonna, MN 55060. Candidates must complete an Affidavit of Candidacy and pay a $20.00 filing fee at time of filing.
