Owatonna Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire

The Owatonna Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire on the 200 block of 32nd Avenue Northwest.

At approximately 4:40 pm on April 8, the Owatonna Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on the 200 block of 32nd Avenue Northwest. Initial callers reported they could see flames along the side of the building.

Fire crews quickly suppressed the fire and performed a search of the structure. The fire appears to have been limited to the exterior of the building.

The building was undergoing renovations and was unoccupied at the time. The cause has been ruled accidental due to construction activities. There were no injuries.
