2024 Presidential Nominating Primary (PNP) Election
To the voters of the City of Owatonna
In the County of Steele County, State of Minnesota.
A Presidential Nomination Primary (PNP) Election will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Polling places will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Polling places within the City are:
First Ward - First Precinct Trinity Lutheran Church, 609 Lincoln Ave
First Ward - Second Precinct Associated Church, 800 Havana Rd
Second Ward - First Precinct Owatonna Public Library, 105 N Elm Ave
Second Ward - Second Precinct Bethel Church, 1163 Hemlock Ave
Third Ward - First Precinct Chambers, Charles S. Crandall Center, 540 West Hills Circle
Third Ward - Second Precinct Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 750 Jeffrey St
Fourth Ward - First Precinct Sacred Heart Parish Center, 739 South Oak Ave
Fourth Ward - Second Precinct Christ Community Covenant Church, 540 SE 18th St
Fifth Ward - First Precinct Grace Baptist Church, 265 26th Street N.E.
Fifth Ward – Second Precinct Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1909 St. Paul Rd
PNP Voters must be registered to vote pursuant to MN Statue 201.054.subd.1.
PNP Voters must request the ballot of the major political party for whose candidate they wish to vote; they are choosing a candidate for their party to nominate as the presidential candidate to be placed on the 2024 General Election Ballot. Polling place election judges must record in the polling place roster the name of the major political party whose ballot the voter requested. The major political party ballot selected by a PNP Voter is private data, except that it will be shared with the chairs of the major political parties in the State of Minnesota.
