The Owatonna Fire Department maintains a state of readiness 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is accomplished by the dedication of our firefighters, along with the willingness of their families and employers to allow our firefighters to leave at a moment’s notice when called. Our firefighters are prepared because of the pride and enthusiasm they show in ongoing training for emergency response.
Other Services
In addition to responding to emergencies, our firefighters conduct fire code inspections to help property owners eliminate unsafe conditions in their buildings. They also provide public education opportunities to our community throughout the year to prevent fires before they happen.
